Manufacture of ladies clothes, school uniforms, workwear. For a short period of time, the company managed to establish itself on the market for ladies clothes, relying on elegant line highlighting the femininity and practicality.
Furthermore, the company has expanded its activities and started producing uniforms for schools and kindergartens, uniforms for hotels and restaurants, bank staff and pharmacists, covering every area of client's wishes to underline its corporate identity.

In May 2021 Kosara-R Ltd. started a two-year project aimed at implementing a new for the company technological solution for the processing of generated textile waste from production that will simultaneously reduce the impact on the environment as a result of the production process and have a positive economic effect for the company.
The project is carried out in partnership with a Norwegian company – SINTEF that will provide some professional consultancy and certification advices for conformity of new products to harmonized European standards.
Funding is provided by Norway Grants 2014-2021 and the total budget is 695 750 EUR out of which 415 000 EUR grant and 280 750 EUR own funds.
On 8th December 2020, Kosara-R Ltd. started the implementation of the project IN1GB-0037449 „Kosara-R Ltd. – Tampouridis Eleftherios: enhancing production capabilities through joint activities and cross-border cooperation”.
The project is implemented jointly by the Bulgarian company Kosara-R Ltd. and the Greek company Tampouridis Eleftherios. The main objective of the project is to increase the export potential of Kosara-R Ltd. and Tampouridis Eleftherios and to expand their economic activity. The expected project duration is 3 years with an ending date of 8th December 2023. The project envisages the construction of a warehouse and logistic base with a showroom in Smolyan while the Greek company Tampouridis Eleftherios will acquire specialized sewing equipment.
The total budget of the project is 580 428,96 EUR out of which 320 687,00 EUR is ERDF contribution, 56 591,82 EUR is national contribution and 203 150,14 EUR are private funds. The project is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and by national funds of the countries participating in the Interreg V-A “Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020” Cooperation Programme.

“Kosara-R” Ltd. has started the implementation of a project for improving the production capacity of the enterprise under procedure BG16RFOP002-2.040
On the 24th of February 2020, “Kosara-R” Ltd. and the Ministry of Economy signed a contract, No. BG16RFOP002-2.040-0277-C01, for the implementation of the project “Increasing the Competitiveness and Ensuring the Sustainable Development of “Kosara-R” Ltd”.
The main objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of “Kosara-R” Ltd and to ensure the sustainable development of the company on the Bulgarian and international apparel markets.
The total worth of the project amounts to BGN 909 909.00, of which BGN 636 936.30 are a grant. The funds will be used to implement production equipment to optimize the production process and increase capacity in the main production processes.
The planned activities include the introduction of technological solutions for increasing the cutting capacity, ensuring precision and high productivity in cutting the fabric, speeding up the preparation of cut products for sewing, optimizing the sewing process and increasing the ironing capacity. Their realization is expected to lead to the achievement of a couple of specific objectives of the project and the following results:
– increase of the capacity and productivity of the main production processes, namely tailoring and fusing, sewing, ironing of production;
– optimizing the execution of all production processes (cutting, fusing, ironing, sewing and finishing operations);
– reducing production costs and increasing efficiency;
– enabling the implementation of more sophisticated models thanks to modern technologies operating with a wide range of materials and the ability to create and save a significant set of programs, which will also allow diversification of the product portfolio;
– achieving a better end-to-end commercial appearance of the clothing production
Successful implementation of the planned activities of the project will increase the capacity and competitiveness of the enterprise and, consequently, increase its export potential.
“Kosara-R” Ltd. begins the implementation of a project for improving the resource efficiency of the enterprise
In November 2018 we launched the implementation of project BG16RFOP002-3.004-0112-C01, “Kosara-R Ltd. introduces modern technological solutions for the optimization of the production process and achievement of resource efficiency”.
The project is implemented under the Operational Programme “Innovation and Competitiveness” 2014 – 2020, co-financed from the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund. The total value of the cost is estimated at 626 369 lv from which 438 458 lv is granted. The funds will be invested in buying high technology and precision equipment using waste-free, automated and ultrasonic technology, as well as specialized machines for processing waste such as textile, paper and cardboard, which will close the production cycle.
The main objective of the project is to optimize the production process and increase the resource efficiency of “Kosara-R” Ltd. by introducing in the production a pilot technology for waste-free production, based on the efficient management of used raw materials and waste, which is a production innovation.

In June 2016 begins the implementation of project BG16RFOP002-2.001-0301-C01, “Technological modernization for enhancing the export potential of “KOSARA-R” Ltd.”
The project is implemented under the Operational Programme “Innovation and Competitiveness” 2014- 2020, co-financed from the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund. The total value of the cost is estimated at 582 800 lv from which 407 960 lv is granted. The funds will be invested in buying new specialized sewing machines.
The overall objective of thе project is to increase the export potential of the company “KOSARA-R” Ltd., as well as to ensure the sustainable development of the company on the Bulgarian and international market of garments. The investment provided under this project will create the technical security necessary for the company to settle permanently in the European market and its recognition as a competitive manufacturer of clothing and honest partner.
The successful realization of the overall objective will be ensured through the implementation of two specific objectives, namely:
– Optimization and automation of the production process;
– Increasing the production capacity of the enterprise.
The implementation of the project activities are expected to lead to the following results:
* improving the quality of the production;
* increasing the production capacity of the enterprise;
* diversification of the product portfolio and optimization of the manufacturing process;
The successful implementation of the project will allow the “KOSARA-R” Ltd. to offer both the Bulgarian and international markets products with high quality at competitive prices and in the shortest time.
