Kosara-R Ltd. Launches the Project “Improving Eco-Friendly Practices and Work Environment in Kosara-R Ltd.”

On December 5, 2024, Kosara-R Ltd. began the implementation of project BG05SFPR002-1.004-0541-C01, titled “Improving Eco-Friendly Practices and Work Environment in Kosara-R Ltd.”

The main goal of the project is to enhance the healthy and safe work environment at Kosara-R Ltd. while contributing to the achievement of a climate-neutral economy. This goal will be realized through the following specific objectives:

1. Improving resource efficiency and reducing environmental impact by introducing “green” work process organization models at Kosara-R Ltd. This will address the need to apply eco-friendly practices within the company and promote an eco-conscious culture among employees, as part of the company’s development towards sustainable corporate behavior.
2. Enhancing health and safety at Production Site 1 by installing collective protective measures against unfavorable microclimates (14 single and multi-split air conditioning systems). This will transition to a safer and more eco-friendly heating and cooling solution for the production facility at Smolyan, Kosta Avramikov St. 2A.
3. Enhancing health and safety at Production Site 2 by installing collective protective measures against unfavorable microclimates (8 single and multi-split air conditioning systems and 1 VRF system). This will ensure more efficient heating and cooling solutions for workspaces, optimizing temperature, humidity, and air movement at Smolyan, Slaveevi Gori St. 24.

The project has a total value of BGN 391,123.70, fully funded by grants, with an implementation period of 18 months.

Kosara Style-R Ltd. Launches the Project “Investment in a Greener, Healthier, and More Comfortable Work Environment at Kosara Style-R Ltd.”

On December 5, 2024, Kosara Style-R Ltd. began the implementation of project BG05SFPR002-1.004-0663-C01, titled “Investment in a Greener, Healthier, and More Comfortable Work Environment at Kosara Style-R Ltd.”

The project aims to enhance workplace health and safety and contribute to a climate-neutral economy through these objectives:

1. Improving resource efficiency and reducing environmental impact by introducing “green” organizational models. This will address the need for sustainable practices within the company and foster eco-consciousness among employees.
2. Ensuring collective protective measures for unfavorable microclimates and ergonomic workspaces at two production sites. This involves safer heating and cooling systems and optimized air conditions, as well as ergonomic solutions for all employees.
3. Providing social benefits to employees by setting up and equipping three relaxation areas for proper rest at both production sites.

The project is valued at BGN 390,719.78, fully grant-funded, and will be executed over 18 months.

Kosara-R Ltd. Launches the Project “Sustainable Employment for Disadvantaged People at Kosara-R Ltd.”

On December 1, 2024, Kosara-R Ltd. began project BG05SFPR002-1.012-0372-C01, “Sustainable Employment for Disadvantaged People at Kosara-R Ltd.”

The project aims to create five new positions for disadvantaged individuals, including three for people with permanent disabilities.

Positions include:

1. 1 Seamstress (disadvantaged individual)
2. 1 Presser (disadvantaged individual)
3. 1 Warehouse Manager (individual with permanent disabilities)
4. 2 Packaging and Buttons Workers (individuals with permanent disabilities)

This initiative will integrate these individuals into the workforce, offering dignified employment tailored to their capabilities, thereby improving self-esteem and workplace satisfaction.

The total project value is BGN 165,444.40, fully funded by grants, with a 36-month implementation period.

Kosara-R Ltd. Launches the Project “Innovative Approach to Enhancing Safety and Comfort in Urban and Natural Environments”

On November 27, 2024, Kosara-R Ltd. signed a contract with the Ministry of Innovation and Growth for grant funding under project BG16RFPR001-1.003-0334-C01, titled “Innovative Approach to Enhancing Safety and Comfort in Urban and Natural Environments.”

The project focuses on developing an inflatable hood for outerwear, which will provide:

1. Enhanced product functionality and user benefits by integrating features from various categories (e.g., winter coats, raincoats, travel pillows) into one product.
2. Reduced production waste through automated cutting processes.
3. Improved user health, safety, and comfort in adverse weather conditions.

The project is valued at BGN 999,849.40, with BGN 499,924.70 funded by grants.

On 8th December 2020, Kosara-R Ltd. started the implementation of the project IN1GB-0037449 „Kosara-R Ltd. – Tampouridis Eleftherios: enhancing production capabilities through joint activities and cross-border cooperation”.

The project is implemented jointly by the Bulgarian company Kosara-R Ltd. and the Greek company Tampouridis Eleftherios. The main objective of the project is to increase the export potential of Kosara-R Ltd. and Tampouridis Eleftherios and to expand their economic activity. The expected project duration is 3 years with an ending date of 8th December 2023. The project envisages the construction of a warehouse and logistic base with a showroom in Smolyan while the Greek company Tampouridis Eleftherios will acquire specialized sewing equipment. 

The total budget of the project is 580 428,96 EUR out of which 320 687,00 EUR is ERDF contribution, 56 591,82 EUR is national contribution and 203 150,14 EUR are private funds. The project is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and by national funds of the countries participating in the Interreg V-A “Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020” Cooperation Programme.

“Improving the production capacity of SMEs” within the framework of the Operational Program “Innovation and Competitiveness” 2014-2020

“Kosara-R” Ltd. has started the implementation of a project for improving the production capacity of the enterprise under procedure BG16RFOP002-2.040

On the 24th of  February 2020, “Kosara-R” Ltd. and the Ministry of Economy signed a contract, No. BG16RFOP002-2.040-0277-C01, for the implementation of the project “Increasing the Competitiveness and Ensuring the Sustainable Development of “Kosara-R” Ltd”. 

The main objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of “Kosara-R” Ltd and to ensure the sustainable development of the company on the Bulgarian and international apparel markets.

The total worth of the project amounts to BGN 909 909.00, of which BGN 636 936.30 are a grant. The funds will be used to implement production equipment to optimize the production process and increase capacity in the main production processes. 

The planned activities include the introduction of technological solutions for increasing the cutting capacity, ensuring precision and high productivity in cutting the fabric, speeding up the preparation of cut products for sewing, optimizing the sewing process and increasing the ironing capacity. Their realization is expected to lead to the achievement of a couple of specific objectives of the project and the following results:

– increase of the capacity and productivity of the main production processes, namely tailoring and fusing, sewing, ironing of production;
– optimizing the execution of all production processes (cutting, fusing, ironing, sewing and finishing operations);
– reducing production costs and increasing efficiency;
– enabling the implementation of more sophisticated models thanks to modern technologies operating with a wide range of materials and the ability to create and save a significant set of programs, which will also allow diversification of the product portfolio;
– achieving a better end-to-end commercial appearance of the clothing production

Successful implementation of the planned activities of the project will increase the capacity and competitiveness of the enterprise and, consequently, increase its export potential.

“Support for pilot and demonstration activities for resource efficiency” (Project 2018)

“Kosara-R” Ltd. begins the implementation of a project for improving the resource efficiency of the enterprise

In November 2018 we launched the implementation of project BG16RFOP002-3.004-0112-C01, “Kosara-R Ltd. introduces modern technological solutions for the optimization of the production process and achievement of resource efficiency”.

The project is implemented under the Operational Programme “Innovation and Competitiveness” 2014 – 2020, co-financed from the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund. The total value of the cost is estimated at 626 369 lv from which 438 458 lv is granted. The funds will be invested in buying high technology and precision equipment using waste-free, automated and ultrasonic technology, as well as specialized machines for processing waste such as textile, paper and cardboard, which will close the production cycle.

The main objective of the project is to optimize the production process and increase the resource efficiency of “Kosara-R” Ltd. by introducing in the production a pilot technology for waste-free production, based on the efficient management of used raw materials and waste, which is a production innovation.

“Kosara-R Ltd. begins the implementation of a project for technological modernization for enhancing the export potential”

In June 2016 begins the implementation of project BG16RFOP002-2.001-0301-C01, “Technological modernization for enhancing the export potential of “KOSARA-R” Ltd.”

The project is implemented under the Operational Programme “Innovation and Competitiveness” 2014- 2020, co-financed from the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund. The total value of the cost is estimated at 582 800 lv from which 407 960 lv is granted. The funds will be invested in buying new specialized sewing machines.

The overall objective of thе project is to increase the export potential of the company “KOSARA-R” Ltd., as well as to ensure the sustainable development of the company on the Bulgarian and international market of garments. The investment provided under this project will create the technical security necessary for the company to settle permanently in the European market and its recognition as a competitive manufacturer of clothing and honest partner.

The successful realization of the overall objective will be ensured through the implementation of two specific objectives, namely:
– Optimization and automation of the production process;
– Increasing the production capacity of the enterprise.

The implementation of the project activities are expected to lead to the following results:
* improving the quality of the production;
* increasing the production capacity of the enterprise;
* diversification of the product portfolio and optimization of the manufacturing process;

The successful implementation of the project will allow the “KOSARA-R” Ltd. to offer both the Bulgarian and international markets products with high quality at competitive prices and in the shortest time.
